Default The Defense played good enough to win

I know people are down on Butler, but he was beaten by a spectacular catch and inexperience in my mind. He had decent position on most of the completions, just needs to get his head around quicker…
The problems with this game were on Offense.
The D held to start the third quarter; Brady moves the team then throws and awful INT on a 3rd and 13.
The jets drive for a FG and kickoff to the Pats and they go three and out again…
Bring the D back on the field and they drive for another TD.

Then on 2nd and 3 Brady throws another pick forcing the ball to Moss.
The D then forces another punt at 13:24 left in the 4th and the Pats run 5 plays and punt again…

Where was the creativity and play calling we saw last week? This offense looks like last year all over again… We need to mix the spread in, run some play action with those big talented TEs… I think Brady looks off to me a lot of high passes, even though he didn’t see a lot of pressure.

The Offensive coordinator looks terrible to me… There are issues on D dont get me wrong, but it was good enough in this game but got no help...

i agree.

Not much to say here.

Bad play calling.

Bad decision making on Bradys part.

Our screen game was non-existant today.

Hernandez played good atleast.

I would agree. towards the end they made a few crucial 3rd down stops. The offense jsut could not put it away. They were not great but they were satisfactory.

I dont think its fair to ask for much more than this from this group yet...

I expect there will be games where the young guys get exploited, this was one they played good enough for us to get the win, thats the real ***** of it IMO...

Are you telling me that allowing Mark Sanchez to go 21/30 for 220 yards and 3 TD's and no ints accompanied by LT rushing for 76 yards at 6.9 a pop is "good enough"?

I agree. I liked the D a lot, if it wasn't for Buttler. He is such a disappointment after all his pre-season hype.

Neither the offense nor the defense played good enough to win. The offense scored 14 points. The defense allowed 28 points. Neither of those numbers are good enough to win unless the other side of the ball plays lights out. The Jets scored on five drives which is not good enough to win. The Jets dominated time of possession 32:32 to 27:28.

This was an entire team loss. Both the offense and the defense. To suggest otherwise is ignoring the facts of the game.

Butler has been crap for 2 games in a row. That might not be indicative of his career but his form sure is poor at the moment.

this, playing against the Jets requires a full team effort. To say that 28 points is doable against the Jets defense and running game is absurd.
