Default The New England Awesomes and the Indianapolis One and Dungies

Poor Colts. They heard the final gun as a bell. Ask not for whom the bell tolls, Colts, it tolls for thee. The Choker has returned, unable to hold a 10 point lead halfway through the final quarter. Gag, gag, gasp.

All week long they prepared themselves for this loss by saying pubicly that it wouldn't be a big deal if they lost.

Turns out they were wrong.

They backed into a superbowl by barely beating a flu-stricken Pats team and then facing an inferior NFC team with a horrible QB. This year that makes them the defending superbowl champs.

After this year they will be remembered about as much as the Tampa Bay Bucs whenever good playoff teams are discussed. Which is to say, they will be forgotten.

The Indianapolis One and Dungies.

Amazing game
How sweet the sound,
The gags and chokes of Colts

They once had won
But now are done,
Are dead, like their mi-cro-phones.

A lot of people forget that this is likely Dungy's last year in Indy. I just hope his last game is in Foxboro on 1/20/08. That could be the rivalry's last HUGE game. New(?) dynasty vs. Old dynasty - that WILL be the "Game of the Century" !
