Default Best 8-game Stretches of All-Time

I compiled a list of the best 8 game stretches. The list isn't comprehensive, I was just picking great teams off the top of my head and hunting down their stats. If anyone knows of any other teams that should be on the list let me know.

Yeah, that '76 Steelers team had a phenomenal 10 game stretch after starting the season 1-4. They only let up 28 points in the last 9 games of the season and had 5 shutouts. Then they smoked the Colts 40-14 in the divisional round. Unfortunately for them they couldn't get by the Raiders. They lost the season opener to Oakland then they bounced them in the AFC Championship.

1968 Colts had a great 8 game stretch as well.
They won their last 8 games giving up 52 points and scoring 216. That's a differential of 164, ranking them 6th on your list. They had 3 shut outs and two games where they held the opponent to under 10 points. That team had one loss in the regular season, 30-20 to the Browns. They defeated the Browns in the NFC championship game 34-0. They then faced the Jets in Super Bowl 3 and we know the rest of the story. They were a great team, good offense and dominating defense.

A sarcastic Bill Belichick on Tom Brady's finger injury, "It's not life threatening."
