The Rams were right about one thing.

Come on, you're using logic and reasoning! Unfair.

Listening to the Patrick show reminds me of the old adage. Don't get into an argument with an idiot, because you'll end up sounding like an idiot. Dan Patrick sounds pretty stupid in that clip.

Then why are people complaining?

In a show if EVERYONE favors one team then there is no show or attraction. Remember when they ask two people on a show in a matchup like this, they are always going to take opposite sides. Since Rod took the Pats side, Faulk took Colts side. On the coaches segment Steve took the Pats side and Jim Mora took the Colts side. It is simple guys. Their objective on the show is not to be correct or objective but to ATTRACT AUDIENCE to their show to increase the viewership and ratings. That is all. Why do you think media creates controversies all the time???? Because it will increase viewership & ratings. That is all media cares about!!

Whether it's Marshall Faulk, Skip Bayless or Glenn Ordway, they are still just guessing, as their wins/losses records at the end of each season tend to prove. If you find someone who's opinion you value, follow that person and ignore the people you think are clowns. After all, it's just entertainment.
So we're not allowed to disagree and have our own opinions?

For ESPN I would tend to agree, though there are days when Sean and John agree with each other. You will always have clowns like Shlereth and Greenberg, but guys like Reese, Parcells, and Ditka are going to tell you what they think.

NFLN to me has tried more to be correct than be controversial. That's why I pay for it. Stunts pulled like Faulk did is the exception, so much so that Rod called him on it.

The fact that you say Rod took the Pats and Marshall took the Colts shows me you didn't watch the show.

Rod did not take the Pats. He was about 50-50, giving the nod to the Pats or Colts as he saw it. Marshall simply went with the Colts down the line.

Rod gave "One edge to Colts & Everything else to Pats". Faulk picked Colts in all categories.

How would it look like if no one created any controversy. You & I won't be talking about it That is what they want.

I don't think anyone here misses this point - that's pretty fundamental. Since you're a newbie, and a Colts fan, you're likely not aware of the fact that Marshall Faulk does this, quite literally, EVERY time he talks about the Patriots. He hates them, he never picks them, he bashes them at every turn.

Having said that, there's certainly a degree of "Who cares?" that should probably take hold here - just not for the reason you're promoting.

Same for Rod Woodson to Colts. He picked against Colts in the last 5 games!!
Ex players & Coaches may have their own agenda. Who knows? and who cares.
