Just to check here--we're seeing something like a 0-5-6, yes?

Nine nose tackles milling around in the secondary would be better, though.

Ahh, the famous 0-5-6. Gotta love it.

What do you do in that situation if you are a lineman?

Do you just loligag around and see if anyone blitzes?

That is some good stuff.... no defensive linemen... no defensive player within 5 yards of the LOS.

What can you do? If you take off you'll be flagged for being an ineligible receiver upfield.

It's interesting to see what the QB does in that situation. They are trained to throw the ball or run out of the pocket within 5 seconds. A good QB would just sit in the pocket all day.

Yea, I guess this was late in the game when it didn't matter if the Jets kept the ball and made a few first downs, just sit back there and see if someone gets lucky comes open, just check down to the running back , or keep it for a 15 yard run. I'm just curious if anybody knows what became of that play.

A good QB would check to a run. Unless time is running out of course.

They ran a run play. I screen printed this from one of the video clips on nfl.com. The play is 1:26 into the clip
