The more I think about it, the more I think this Pats-Colts rivalry is good for BB and the Patriots legacy, and until the Colts won a ring, it wasn't a real rivalry. Having another team that is a perennial Super Bowl contender makes BB/TB's accomplishments thus far look even stronger, and any future accomplishments as well.
And it is quite likely that neither Brady or Manning is done winning championships, and that their legends will grow. But I think the legends feed each other. And the Colts recent Super Bowl victory, while painful to Pats fans at first, will as sports history unfold, help elevate other Patriot accomplishments.
Thoughts?

I think that if the Pats had won the last 2 SB's to go with the 3 previous then they'd have all the legend they require. I really don't think they needed the Steelers and Colts to win these last 2 in order to do this
