Agreed. The "trade Tom Brady"/"fire Bill Belichick" discussions of last season are about as far back as you have to look for our own versions of "falling down" moments after a loss.

Jabba The Mouth has put a bullseye square on the belly of his team.

Nothing like making your team's job just a bit harder every week.

We all get to see how the Jets will handle pressure this season.

Just as happy posting here where overall team expectations are a bit more realistic instead of the "The Jets are gonna be SB bound" because they got a laydown invite to the playoffs and played a couple good games attitude.

For Jet fans...reality is gonna S**K when they find out other teams in the NFL have improved and now have a year's worth of film on Sanchez.
I'd love to see them run the score up on the Jets as much as the next guy. But, I'm also realistic. If we start doing that again on a regular basis, it's only a matter of time before Tommy is shelved for the season again with a blown out knee.

I really don't think the game's going to be a walk-through like a lot of people here and at JI think.

The Jets love to talk, but a week's worth of embarrassment from the entire country should have them ready to redeem themselves. Plus they'll be desperate. Plus it's their Super Bowl.

That defense is still elite, with some holes, but still much better than ours.

We're starting two kids at CB. Very talented, but even the Rams were able to game-plan around them. The Rams.

We'll be on the road with a young team. And let's be honest: their offense has only one way to go.

I like our chances, but I'm not expecting a romp. It'll be a good game.

Don't underestimate them. They are still loaded with talent. Embarrassing themselves like that might go a long way towards making them more focused. I take solace in knowing that our HC is taking them very seriously.

What would I do instead of run out in front of 80,000 people and command 52 guys and be around guys I consider brothers and be one of the real gladiators? Why would I ever want to do anything else? It's so hard to think of anything that would match what I do: Fly to the moon? Jump out of planes? Bungee-jump off cliffs? None of that s--- matters to me. I want to play this game I love, be with my wife and son, and enjoy life." - Tom Brady

This is a big game for the Pats, no doubt. It's a road game, and a division game.

Good teams win on the road. Good teams win in their division.

This game will be an important indicator of whether the 2010 Patriots are for real.

Yep, I'd imagine we'd see a complete 180 in message board postings if the Pats were to lose this weekend.

Suddenly the Jets fans would be reclaiming they were SB bound and Pats fans will be declaring the onset of Armegeddon.

HAHA!

Too funny.

I hope we add to their misery. Rex needs to shut his pie hole.

Just wait until Saturday when all of these fans start making a 180 on their predictions. A week in the season is like a microcosm of the entire year for the Jets, with the apex coming when they're not playing.

Come Saturday, 99% of Jets fans will have a "feeling" that they're going to pull it out, some brilliant game planning from their living room, and the assurance that Monday's game was a fluke.
