here is an example of what that team is thinking after being 1-2 before the chiefs game

'Lights Out' back on
Shawne Merriman was the last player introduced before the game, and he brought back the “Lights Out” dance as he ran on the field.

Merriman said before the season he didn't know if or when he would resurrect the dance, but he'd know when the time was right. He had stopped it in an attempt at a lower profile.

But teammates urged him this week to bring it back. Some of them had even stopped talking to him until he did it again. He also did the dance after his fourth-quarter sack.

“I wasn't expecting to do it coming out, and I wasn't planning on doing it after a sack,” Merriman said. “But the adrenaline gets you to do it.”
imagine pats players thinking of sack dances after a loss..

I can absolutely give a hard time to someone who says the 3-0 Pats will end up 12-4 AND the 1-3 Chargers will end up 12-4 too.
Of course, that wasn't the case.

If Rivers play turns around, the Chargers will be back in the saddle...if not, they are doomed.
What kind of rope are you smoking?

Willhelm and Cooper make Monte Beisel look like a HOF ILB. The Chargers lost Godfrey to retirement and AJ Smith refused to even try ot keep probowl ILB Donnie Edwards. He jsut didn't like him; just like he didn't like Schottzy.

AJ created two holes in the middle of his Defense.

Keenan McCardell a very good older possesion receiver went over the hill in the middle of last season. AJ did nothing to find a Possesion receiver. Believe it or not Reche Caldwell would start in the possesion role that they need. He kept a couple of guys that look like Bethel Johnson and Kelly
Washington and asked them to be everyday WRs not just an occasional deep threat every other game or so.

AJ has spent lots of high draft picks to select big CBs who are fast, but not quick. Does the name and style of play of CB Tebuckey Jones remind you of that kind of DB? It should.

Utter Stupidity ! And self inflicted...

.

The Chargers lost a tough game to an under-rated (what's new) Patriots team, then they hit the panic button and fired a very decent coach who -- who knows? -- might just have been on the cusp of winning the big one.

Now they'll never know because they totally freaked -- LT's temper tantrum, "They dissed us", didn't help -- and get to pay the price.

I'm rather enjoying their fall, especially after they got all pissy after the Pats whupped 'em fair and square. Good God, if a team beats you straight up, fair and square, pat 'em on the back and say, "Good job, you were better today. But we'll be back."

Instead the Bolts cried and moaned like children who lose their favorite toy. Oh, well. The caravan moves on.

Yeah, but at least they have the Padres.
