Default Pats May Play In Edmonton Next Year

Surprised no one in here is talking about this.... hmmmmmmmmmm...... Just one question: When the hell is Canadian Thanksgiving..?

http://www.edmontonsun.com/News/Colu...19086-sun.html

FOUR DOWN FOOTBALL IN COMMONWEALTH STADIUM

There's a real good chance Edmonton could host a regular season National Football League (NFL) game, the Denver Broncos versus the New England Patriots, on Canadian Thanksgiving weekend next year.

Thats bull****.

Its hard enough to get football tickets and now im assuming they're taking away one of our homegames to play in Canada?

Im completely against this.

So am I... just wait until they do it for a Super Bowl...

(EDIT: By the way, the Denver game next year is a Patriots home game).

I think this is one of the only times we will be in agreement on something but if that were to happen i think there would be a giant uproar from the football community.

Since when did we become the world football league?

This sounds like further punishment for the franchise for Spygate.

Well there's a first time for anything

But seriously.... Sacrificing a home game to go to Edmonton..?!? That's almost as far away as San Diego.

As a season ticket holder, I'm already pissed at even the suggestion of such a thing. Canadians have their own pro football league for cryin' out loud, why does the NFL have to stick its business up there? Also, isn't next season when we make an ungodly bunch of West Coast road trips? How could they take away a home game and make the team travel all the way to Edmonton? Hell, the Patriots might as well set up a second home base out West.

To do this in a year where the Pats are already making 4 trips to the West Coast, this is even more absurd.

If this were to actually happen i would seriously start not only a Internet petition but an actual one in real life.

This would be beyond absurd.
