Brady's throws this year are UNFRICKIN believable. Best and most consistent I've ever seen any quarterback ever play.
What on EARTH happened to him?

He's HEALTHY. People forget that prior to the start of last season he'd had surgery for a sports hernia.
The announcers stressed during the game that they were impressed about Brady tossing a medicine ball around and how so much of the power of the throw is generated by the core.

The man took a team with Reche Caldwell and Jabar Gaffney as his WR's to within a minute of a Championship.
He took teams with Troy Brown, David Patton,Jermaine Wiggins, Deion Branch and David Givens to 3 Super Bowl Titles.
The best QB in the NFL now has weapons he has NEVER had before. Nothing happened to him, hes just the best, and now he can truly show it.

Exactly. I think it's true that he's healthier than he's been in awhile, but Moss and Welker are possibly THE best at the roles they play, and the ripple effect is astonishing and encompassing. Also, the OL has played together for awhile now (Neal's injury notwithstanding) and I gotta think that's been helpful, too, given how much time and room #12 has to throw.

Three games into the season, it seems both of those are behind him. Let's hope it holds up.
Moss, of course, makes a huge difference on A. I hope the experience of losing a playoff game two years running makes a difference on B.
And many of us have been making the case for a long time that accurate deep throws are largely the result of having a WR who ca track down the long ball. I saw multiple times last year when Gaffney and Caldwell would get bumped off their route just a hair while the ball was in the air. A single wrong little move can make it look like you are 5 to 10 yards off your intended target.
If you ever watched the QB skills competition you'd see even the best QBs have a very hard time hitting a target way downfield. It's a very hard thing to do. You need WRs who can adjust to the ball.
