Banned from Chargers.com Board!! - New England Patriots Forums

Over the past 2 weeks, I have been defending the Patriots and coach Belichick on the Charger's official fan site under the name HumblePat. I did it with a lot of tongue in cheek commentary and a lot of respect under their brutal assault and hate filled attacks.

A lot of their fans gave me props for staying there and taking it. And some fans even said I was making some good points. But about 15 minutes ago as I was surfing their site & out of the blue, I got this message:

Pretty sad in my opinion.

Feel free to check out my posts over there...although I don't want to bore you to death! If I wasn't playing nice, they would not have posted that ridiculous memo saying "Banned for defending a cheater..." crap.

All they want to do is believe what they believe no matter what the facts are.

Good for them. It's their site. What's tongue in cheek to you is annoying to them, and as disruptive to their discussions as our resident trolls are to ours.

We should ban all trolls here, too.

Unless he broke the rules, then it would be illegal to ban him. According to the post that I found, it doesnt list him as being banned. Just a Guest....

That's nothing... I've been banned from the patsfans.com poltical forum because I have the audacity to actually be a Conservative... I've written moderators and the administrator time and time again and nobody seems to want to respond to my letters.

Sit down. Take a breath. Easy, big fella. There are "trolls" and there are visitors. Sounds to me like many of the Charger fans found him to be perfectly fine.

For you to come out and say good for them is a blatantly STUPID statement when you don't know what was said. No site should just ban people because they don't agree with their fans.

As the operator of a forum myself (unrelated to football), I'll tell you, they have the right to ban whoever they want.

That said, the reason they give (defender of a cheater

) is about as juvenile and unprofessional as you can get. Had they just said "Disruptive to ongoing Charger dialog", they might have given themselves a touch more credibility IMO.

Lame board, LAME team......

Illegal? Which law school did you go to Einstein... the *****house lawyer's school of law?
