Default Getting the cold shoulder in the Meadowlands

Nope this is not a Manweenie, Belichick thread. The cold shoulders belong to none other than Fireman Eds lifepartner. You know the gentleman upon whose shoulders he strides and spells that four letter word (no not YMCA come on people thats not nice)...J.E.T.S. Seems Mr. Ed is on the PUP list, (Physically Unable to Perch). Lets all wish this New York Icon a speedy recovery.

I heard a completely different story about this idiot while at Pats-Jest a couple weeks ago: A Jest fan told me that Fireman Ed is boycotting because the team has refused to pick up the tab for his trips to away games. He considers himself a mascot/ambassador and wants to be treated as such in an official capacity. I don't know if this is true or not, but it does cast doubt on the current story of his partner suffering a knee injury. Why would this prevent Ed from attending the games and finding someone else to sit on?

FWIW, according to this Newsday article, it's Mr. Ed himself who had the knee surgery. . . .

I guess I'm sick, too, then. Here's wishing a football fan a speedy recovery. Though I feel kind of bad that he will be disappointed all year.

Okay, I don't feel bad at all, but I do hope he gets better and gets back in the saddle.

Count me in also. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and getting back onto the Meadowlands Jumbotron so I can yell expletives at it!

Seriously, speedy recovery.
