Default I'm sorry but "Cheater" tag will follow you

I would not be surprised if at every away game that the Pats play, some sign in the stands would reference cheating. Also, if any of you guys post on other teams' boards - any opinion that you express will be discarded and ignored with a quick reference to Pats being cheaters. Every game that you lose will have been lost because you were stripped of your ability to cheat and every game that you win will be because you found a way to cheat again. Every past and future accomplishments will be seen with an asterist by opponsing fans

This is totally unfair. I know you guys have a good team and this video stuff had no bearing on the outcomes. Also, this stuff goes on in the NFL like crazy but because you guys are such an easy target, this tag will follow you.

My suggestion - which many of you are already doing: SCREW THE OTHER FANS. WHO CARES WHAT THEY THINK. JUST FOCUS ON YOUR OWN TEAM AND ENJOY WATCHING THEM BEAT UP ON OTHER TEAMS.

Whats funny is that I just posted basically the same thing in the "We Should Fly the Black Flag and Change our team Colors" thread. At this point everyone hates us so screw everyone and lets go beat down anyone that crosses us.

Thanks for the nice post. I think Steelers fans are by and large good, genuine folks.

My response when challenged by other teams's fans will be: If we beat you, we'll have that on tape too!

No problem. Good football is good football and you guys have the best team right now in the league. That is clearly why this is even a big deal. If the Browns were caught doing this - no one would even care.

Even with this mess, I see BB doing everything right - taking responsibility, not blaming any of his assistants, apologizing to the appropriate parties and then moving on to real football issues like the Chargers game this week.

Enjoy the rest of the season and ignore all the stupid cheap shots that will come your way (I'm sure a bunch of Steeler fans have already taken their turn - including some Steelers players ... I'm embarassed for them. I wish they would just shut up and play the game)

The best thing we can do is go out and kick some serious ass. If we have a run the next 5 years, comparative to the last 6, I don't think the cheater label will have nearly as much weight.

But you are absolutely right and thanks for the kind words.
