One less draft pick to sign = more cash for free agents.

With the second 1st rounder gone, freed up money will help to Tie up Moss and Stallworth long term.

ManRATgina can thank himself for getting himself fired next yr

I really hope BB has proof of other teams doing it and screws them, if everyone loses their first round picks, its goign to be a fast first round.
I'm thinking no proof will be forthcoming.

I won't say the league went easy on us, but other fans and writers will. Look around the national media. Check out some of the boards on national sites, like NFL.Com. They're rabid.

I think that Goodell and Belichick discussed "how can you not drag the league through the mud?" and Belichick basically horse-traded with Goodell... when before have you seen a "sentence" like "Pacman, you are suspended for a season if your team is good, and eight games if they suck"?

Just sayin.

This will be Pats Vision Quest season........to personally have turd Goddell hand tham the Lombardi come early Feb 2008 ! That will be the defining moment when we can telll the world and the NFL Fuhrer to shove it all up their behind !

I can only imagine what Goddell will be saying, or will the cat have bitten his tongue and he will issue his statement of Congrats to Pats being SB champs

For god's sake, would people stop dropping single-digit numbers for the location in the 1st round of the San Fran pick? All they have to do is go 7-8 the rest of the way in the weak NFC, and the pick would be about 16th or 17th in the 1st round. It is more likely to be in the 20s than single digits.
