Default Salisbury: "Even if all the Jets players were on steroids...

they would have never won that game on sunday!!"

This came on the "HOT SEAT" and where he also said he thinks "this is the most overblown topic right now." And the league should just "fine him $50,000 dollars and move on"
-------------------------------------------------------------

From watching this guy a few times today you can tell he really thinks this entire thing is BS.

I just wish that it was someone other than Salisbury in NE's corner. He is not exactly the best sharpest tool in the shed.

Certainly no dumber than Schlereth, though.

Come now, Schlereth is the biggest homer and it's all about him and the Broncos legacy. All about the 250,000 knee surgeries he had. Peeing in his jock and drinking it later was his last claim to own the spotlight one more time. That guy is a homer and a Pat's hater all the way.

Comparing the two is apples and oranges.

An important note to SportsCenter's coverage - on the segment leading up to Salisbury, they spot-shadowed the same video guy on the Jets sideline, the same picture that's been all over this board since yesterday - insinuating that he was the culprit.

Lots of opinions and reports floating around out there - and a lot to sift through to make a solid determination on this issue.

He said it, I don't make stuff like that up. He was just on "The Hot Seat"

I also posted the fallowing thread that came before it was being reported anywhere

We started a pretty good rumor then, because there's no way in hell that was the guy.

I haven't been following this board that closely but that shot on espn started from that picture from here?

Salsbury has been pretty good. He was against the Patriots in '04 though. After the Patriots demolished the Colts he picked them the rest of the way.

I respect Salsbury, and he's right. This is overblown.

Well, I agree that Salisbury isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but is ANYONE who is writing these reactionary columns and spouting off "expert" opinions? NOBODY is exactly a rocket scientist. I mean, I certainly wouldn't put Terrell Davis, Rod Woodson, or anyone of these "national columnists" on any level above Salisbury.

I'm happy Salisbury is so adament about it. It's done, everyone knows it's done, just assess the penalty and move the hell on. It's the most sensible thing I've heard in the media on this topic.
