If he isn't well enough to play #3 receiver why have him out there for punts?
I'd rather have Welker or Tate out there returning punts than him if he isn't well enough to play receiver.
I bloody don't!

Because it lightens the load on them all, Edelman works back by just returning punts and Welker can just be a WR. And I think Tate is probably the #3 WR over Edelman right now anyway.
Well, we'll see, Edelman has been out so there's another reason he hasn't been returning punts.

Which was generally my point, he had an explosive return in game one then got hurt. I may be wrong, I often am, but I am assuming Edelman is out top punt returner with Welker and Tate playing WR and Tate also returning kickoffs in combination with others like McCourty. I was on the "Welker will be back for game one" bandwagon but I doubt he'll be a full time WR and PR right off the bat.
