Default James Sanders or Jarvis Green - Who is more crucial in the first 1/4 of the season?

Until Rodney and Seymour come back in about 1/4 or so into the season (IF Seymour comes back amid reports) there are 2 guys on the team who are replacing seasoned vets and both players (injured and suspended) of whom are top dogs in their respective positions and those 2 replacement guys whose play will be crucial to the success of this team early and its future down the line is James Sanders and Jarvis Green whom I expect will respectively man those 2 spots vacated by the drug suspended Harrison and injured Seymour.

If you had to pick one of these 2 replacement guys Sanders and Green, who's play do you think is more crucial than the other in order to keep the team afloat and winning? - Does Jarvis or James have the tougher job of the two to hold down the spot until the regular comes back?

To make the question easier in perspective - Which of these 2 guys has the tougher job of manning the respective position for these several games?

Jarvis is more important, Sanders has the easier job.

I agree, Green.............

Luckily, of the two, I think he's most capable to rise to the occasion. Of the two anyway (not taking anything from Sanders either).

Our defense is predacated on on pressure from our front seven. Green is more important. I feel that as long as the front seven can pressure the QB and plug all the holes, the secondary personnel can be average.

I do think Sanders could make the next step this year regardless though.

Well if I have to choose, I think Sanders is more important.
He will be taking over Harrison's role, and we all know how important Harrison is to our secondary. Can he step up and be a leader? Can he make the right reads and calls? Can he intimidate and be a physical presence in our defensive backfield?
Those are the unknowns.

I believe that Green is more than capable of filling in for Seymour. He's done it before. Besides he's got Warren and Wilfork with him.
Yes Wilson will be back there with Sanders, but Wilson has never looked very good without Rodney, IMO.

we lasted with Sanders at asfety last year..we've lasted with scrub secondary. our front 7 dominates which si why we make plays and stopping the run is our game.

if Green can do as well as he has in the past..we'll be fine. if he doesnt..then teams will run on us and our secondary could get exposed or just put on an island for a long time and let teams drive up and down

our front 3 is most important part of the D. i will take any1 from front 3 over anyone playing behind.
