"Q: How did you think Laurence looked his first game back?
BB: I think he did some things all right. It was his first game. He has a long way to go. I thought there were some things that were okay. There were other things that could have been better."

Ouch.

It is officially Football season, we read these things looking for insight, truth and light... instead we walk away with a big smile, BB returns in his consistent, classic form.

I really don't see why Bill's presence is necessary at these interviews. One reporter can ask the questions of another reporter, who almost certainly knows exactly what Bill would say. I imagine that there's no one on patsfan.com who couldn't have created that transcript entirely from his own imagination.

Q: You opened with nine straight running plays. Was that scripted?

BB: Absolutely.

BB: Nah - I pretty much let the guys do whatever they want throughout the games. Whenever you see me with that headset on I'm usually listening to Bon Jovi on my Ipod.
