So overall poor play, sloppy play doesn't worry me right now, poor play by the OL does because it puts Brady at risk. So here's hoping for some improvement next game.

This is a good summary of the problem with our team in general since 2002.
We win superbowls with sloppy offense, quite frankly. By a field goal, which is fine with me.
The problem is that Brady's protection has been substandard for a long time and I don't see a single indication that this year will be different.
We have the same guys on the O-Line, and a couple more youngsters of average pedigree to work into the mix. I hope the OL plays more consistently this year and takes some pressure off Brady, but as of yet I don't have a reason why that will be the case, so I will have to see what the regular season brings.
