Default WEEI/Rapoport: Brady deal "imminent" - 3 years, $58M

Per the D & C show (Brady's show) significant progress was made this weekend and all that's left is the dotting of the i's and the crossing of the t's.
Sweet!!!!

I think this is the third time I've heard this over the last few weeks.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

How much.

I'm guessing 60 over 4. 40 mill guaranteed.

Yeah, I'm kind of curious how this was presented. Was it a news item? Was it those two useless a.m. guys babbling in between political rants? I don't see any mention of it on their homepage or in anything by Price. There's been a sense for a while now that a deal was essentially in place, so that's nothing new.

Not sure but whatever it is he's worth every penny. Not surprised to be hearing this will be wrapped up this week. I think all sides want this done before the regular season. I've got a really good vibe about this team.

Hope it's true. Then on to Moss. Then Peppers.

I believe Brady moved his weekly appearance from Monday to Wednesday this week. It would be awesome if that was because they're announcing the signing today.

Actually they are quoting multiple sources, one of whom says the whole contract is finished and the lawyers are spell checking it.
