Default Most Unsung Patriot?

The Pats have played that "no respect" card for a long time, but who in your opinion is an unsung patriot? A guy who doesn't ever show up in highlights or rack up amazing stats but helps the team win games?

I used to claim Izzo but it seems people have caught on to Izzo and his Special Teams prowess. For nostalgic reasons, I'm a Kevin Faulk fan, I just think when he's on and clicking (and not fumbling footballs... ) Hes as good of a backup as there is in the NFL...

Ty Warren. People are beginning to respect him more now, but I think he still doesn't get the respect that he deserves. He doesn't produce huge sack numbers or anything, but solidifies the line consistently with Pro Bowl caliber performance. Wilfork and Seymour still get more hype but he could arguably be the best defensive lineman we have on our team IMHO.

Chad scott, He can play multiple positions, he is a wrapup hard tackler, has moderate hands is slowing down a little but if he needs to start in a pinch i'm not scared he's gonna get starked for a big play.

No stats and no highlight reels? Easy, Big Vince.

Last year I'd go with Reche Caldwell and Asante Samuel. 2 guys who's expectations were low but stepped up big time.

Honorable mention to Troy Brown who is the ultimate unsung hero every year.

That strip on Marlon McCree to beat the Chargers was epic

Troy Brown, no question. He does whatever the team asks, never asks for more money, and is the definition of a team player.

A few exceptions notwithstanding, the most unsung player on just about every team is usually on the offensive line.

My vote is for Koppen.

The most unsung has to be Koppen.
