What a metro

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

Yeah like some schmuck is really gonna beleive that a multi million dollar guy like Brady loves to wear cheap a$s Stetson cologne which goes for about $10 bucks for 3 ounces - Spare me please!!

If Tom ain't wearing $100 3oz Cologne then he aint wearin' nothin at all.

Thats what I don't understand of why Tom is doing this crap now?,Wait for his career to be over and become a model and/or actor which to me is a near certainty,He certainly does not need the money now.

Sure does need the money now!
You know, got to feed his family which will shortly be a " tad larger " as it were.

I don't get people who say that. $12.5 mil is $12.5 mil. Bill Gates is worth a helluva lot more than that, and he's not just selling his stock and going home. I don't care how rich I was, I would take $12.5 mil if offered.

When did an athlete not have a right to do endorsements? The pales in comparison to the amount of TV ads Manning is in. Why wait? Strike while the iron is hot. When he retires he might be bald and fat, who knows!

As long as he's focused 150% in camp, on his conditioning and on the field, I don't care if he does ads for eau de swampwater. btw, didn't joe namath used to do ads for Brut? i guess this smell is more upscale or something...

Metro? Don't you know that "Brady defines the passion, pride and masculine spirit of the Stetson man"?

No, but he is giving away billions of dollars - he is the world's biggest philanthropist. I'm not saying that Brady is anywhere near that rich, or that Brady is not generous (I don't know either way) - but what I am saying is there does come a point where enough money is enough.
