Default Gosh, Dolphins offered Stallworth a contract

Gee, so did the Patriots and the Titans. Any bets as to whether the 49ers offer Stallworth a contract?

Guess the four teams will have to bid against each other, huh?

What a buffoon Rosenhaus is. You can get your client a good deal without making a circus out of it. And what if the price Stallworth signs for is less than the first offer of $32 mil, $10 mil guaranteed? How do you explain four teams bidding and the final price being less than the opening bid.

Check eBay for Rosenhaus's next free agent. Free shipping if you sign two or more players.

I think it works in an agents and players advantage when he has multiple offers.

Where did you hear this? I haven't seen any reports of a Miami offer. I read KFFL, profootballtalk, Reiss, Tomase, Schefter, and I have been to Miami message baords, and still I can't find anything that says thy offered him a contract, yet.

On NE Sports Desk, or whatever the Globe equivalent of NEST is. I figure with Borges out of the picture, it will be safe to watch for two months.

So you guys really believe Rosenhaus when he says all the teams offered Stallworth a contract? If you represent a typical NFL team GM, and I have no reason to think you guys are not as smart as half of them, then I retract my statement calling Rosenhaus a buffon.

I confess to being amazed. I figured that no one would believe him and that his efforts were self-defeating.

Or perhaps there are two born every minute.

You can't go by what you hear on SportsDesk. After everyone else was already saying the rumors of Stallworth signing here were false, SportsDesk was still saying he had signed. Also, I still haven't seen this Miami contract offer rumored, or reported anywhere. they probably just thought Miami was going to make an offer, because Stallworth stayed in Miami for two nights. The problem with that logic is Stallworth and Drew the D-Bag both have houses in the area, and probably just used it as a base of operation for a few days. I really think Stallworth would fit into NE's offense well, so it kind of sucks that D-Bag is Stallworth's agent.

Question: "So, Mr. Rosenhaus. If your client has four good offers in hand, why hasn't he signed somewhere?"

Answer: "Next question..."

I'm glad they did.....the last thing I want is Stallworth signing with the Pats...at least at the money offered.

No where did we say we believed him, just simply stated it works in his advantage. You call him a bafoon for him saying theres 4 offers out there. Him saying there are 4 offers out there is an advantage.
