Nelson's slipping probably came to an abrupt halt today, after running a 4.35 fourty at Florida's pro-day.

Florida safety Reggie Nelson ran a 4.35 forty at Florida's Pro Day Wednesday.

He also beat four seconds in the short shuttle, which is very impressive on natural grass. This should cement Nelson's spot in the first round. New England will look hard at him with their two first-round picks.

Nelson was considered a top 15 prospect until the combine, when LaRon Landry blew scouts away with his size/speed combo.

Nelson's video looks great. Hard hitter, very physical player, team leader and a ballhawk too.

Needs to improve against the run, and may be lacking in the intelligence category as well.

I wonder if a team will turn him into a cornerback since he is very fast and a little undersized.
