Great move by the Jesters....they did far better on this than I expected. The Bears almost gave Jones away. Big improvement, only going to cost them cash and a little position in the draft.

The only upside for us is that Jones is in the last year of his deal and will be 29 before the season starts. Looks to be a potential short term solution for the Jets. Otherwise, it was a great deal for the Jets.

It's not that much of a "give-away." If you look at the draft pick value differences between #37 and #63, it's about 280 points. That's the equivalent of a mid-late 2nd round pick.
