I've not heard anything much about Edwards in the last day or so.

But it seems to me that Thomas is going to be playing a lot of ball on the outside. Assuming there's any change left to be scraped from the salary cap barrel, shoring up the inside with a decent signing would just about make this weekend the best in Pats FA history.

I've seen updates on the NFLN about Donnie being a Free Agent

haven't heard a damn thing other than that.

How sick would it be if we could get him cheap b/c he wants a ring?

I think i would make pipis in my underpants.

He'd be quite a nice addition, given our situation at ILB. I've said that he is too small to play inside on this team, but with the 270lb beast that is A.D. outside, it might even out!

The price would have to be right, of course. The fact that he has not signed yet, or even been rumored to be visiting anywhere, is encouraging. Maybe he is not garnering much interest because of his age, and so would come here relatively cheap for a chance to win a championship.
