No. It doesn't mean its official. An agreement in principle basically means that the deal is done pending Thomas passing his physical. Which is supposed to happen today.

The parties have agreed in principal on a deal. That means that they have agreed to the parameters of a contract. Thomas has to pass a physical and the parties involved have to sign the contract. So no, it is not official. However, it's pretty obvious this is getting done...

When you lose Ted Johnson, Roman Pfifer and Willie McGinnest in a 13 month stretch, I would say the decline is pretty obvious.
