As long as they have Cutler, the broncos will need at least an average QB to get them to the next level. The broncos are the only team I can recall that changed QBs in mid season, just to fall on their face. Now that they made the change they will have to live with it. Cutler is your typical 'deer in headlights', that will never work out, they should have kept Jake at QB and made the playoffs.
Anyway, as a Patroits fan I'm happy that denver will be out of the playoff picture for the next few years.
A part of me will always wonder if Shanahan really wanted to win the San Francisco game and come to New England for the wild-card game, and have Cutler make only his 6th start in the NFL against the Pats.
