Just stop it, McGahee would never willingly split carries with Maroney. We want to get Maroney more carries not less, we need someone like a TJ Duckett or a washed up Jamaal Lewis, or a willing Corey Dillon.

seriously I think we have enough threads to read with rumors that have sources and signings and players coming in for visits.

McGahee thinks he is the best RB in the NFL. No way would he split carries with Maroney. We would need to trade Maroney to get McGahee.

McGahee considers himself to be The Best Running Back in the NFL (his words), so there is pretty much no chance in hell that he would split time with Maroney or come at a reasonable price.

Well, this got an immediate read from me, but it turned out to be nothing more than a poster's curiosity--not even a rumor, much less news.

Please, in these free agent days, with news coming in by the minute, label your threads so they don't cause readers to gasp with shock.

I would suggest something like, "Should we go after McGahee?"
