Default Reiss/Globe says Patriots being aggressive in FA..

graham_is_drawing_plenty_of_interest

"Meanwhile, at Gillette Stadium, the Patriots were planning to be aggressive as the clock struck 12:01 a.m. -- similar to their approach in 2005 when they quietly brought high-profile receiver Derrick Mason to town (he ended up signing with the Ravens). The team's specific targets weren't known, but top needs include linebacker, defensive back, receiver, and running back. If Graham departs, a blocking tight end might become a target. Kyle Brady, who enters his 14th NFL season and is one of the most durable players at tight end, could get an early look from the Patriots."

Wonder if they're sneaking any deals in at the moment

Pretty much what I'd expect. If there are a couple of players who you think would REALLY make a difference, go after them hard. Otherwise, lay low and wait for the quiet values.

Let's just hope that they do a better job in evaluating the talent and how they will fit into out system. The last couple of years, they've been less than stellar picking up guys in FA.

For the low money, Caldwell was a veritable steal.

Yeah I wouldn't expect anything official from the Patriots until they're out of money

99% of the rumors we are going to hear are going to be pure BS but it's fun nonetheless.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

Reiss seems to be getting aroused over this Kyle Brady guy.
