even if we have to give up our 2nd pick, we need to do it. this guy is stong, buffed, loves to hit and runs a 4.35 he reminds me of a young Rodney

Unfortunately, our 2 1st round picks won't get us high enough to get Landry. So, what makes you think our 2nd round pick will get us up high enough?
Where do you see hm going? According to the draft value chart the Pats two first rounders equals the 8th overall pick. Of course, a team does not need to go by that, but withthat in mind I think the Pats might have enough to get him.
I agree the guy is going to be a beast. But if he'd 10-12, it's gonna take more than a 2nd round pick.
If he slips to 14-16 I think it could be done, but he's not going to. The guy made himself alot of money at the combine.
He will not slip close to where the pats will be and if they move up it would cost too much.
i think if we give up a 3rd to it would be worth it, we have seen our 2nd and 3rds not be sucessful, johnson, hill, jackson, scott, williams, id take Landry and a linebacker at 28 and id call it a good first day

Ah, not to be a party pooper, but what exacly are your memories of a "young Rodney?" Were you a Chargers fan way back when?
I'd say, we both meant we were thinking that Landry seems to explode onto the play the way, I imagine, a young Rodney Harrison did. And yes, this nitpicking is worth the bother because Landry could eclipse Harrison as a star.
