Just announced minutes ago that Brett Favre has decided to return to the Green Bay Packers in the next season..Probably thinks that the NFC is so lame even his young team has a chance..The guy won't leave

Just further proof that he is pro sports biggest media whore. As many suspected the whole crying act after the last game of 2006 was nothing more than an attention grab by a guy who was not retiring.

I hope they cut him in training camp.

I'm shocked. Shocked. The Rasputin of the NFL returns.

We need a yawning smilie.

Maybe Lord Favre ought to have a conversation with Ted Johnson.

Now the networks can promote Packers games as yet another Favre farewell tour.

Or Barbaro.

Put him and the Packers fans out of their misery and be done with it.

Didn't they use a high draft pick on Aaron Rogers a few years back? Does Rogers really need to be on the bench anymore?

If you're going to have another season like you did last year if you're the packers, why not give Rogers some more playing time? But will Farve be willing to sit on the bench? I doubt it.

Favre Favre and his ego could care less about the Green Bay Packers. He will be 1 year older and his talents will decline from this year. So Packer fans you are doomed to another year of mediocrity but you'll have your beloved Brett at quarterback. I'll bet the teams playing the Packers are overjoyed to get another shot at Mr Gunslinger, read interception thrower, Favre. Screw the team I'm playing quarterback. Stupidity has no limit.

what if Aaron Rodgers outplays him in training camp? will the coaching staff have the balls or even the authority to make St.Favre the backup QB?
