Watched the game with a roomful of friends last night...big screen, good time...but after a loss like that, I needed to get here asap -- where folks bleed Patriots and forge bonds with humor and intelligence.

All through the game I recalled things I'd read here.

This is the place we come to celebrate the good times and console each other in the bad times...

Even if we disagree all through the year on this and that, we all have one thing in common. We're emotinally attached to the Pats!

Today, we mourn a pretty darn good 2006 season and start getting our heads up for 2007.

The Colts were the better team last night.

We'll get over it.

We're lucky.

My boss is a Raider fan (who I cannot be too c o c k y with!) and my senior supervisor that reports to me (who I can!) is a huge, trash-talkin' Dolphin fan.

They were both in my office at about 9:15am trying to kick me when I'm down, but I said, "Listen, my team just lost a classic AFC Championship Game by four points. Do either of your teams even have head coaches right now?"

BTW, Brown80, good to see you back in the fold, laddie!

The team did a fantastic job this season and I can't wait for the next one. Our defense was shredded the second half and I realized how tough it was to get this far.
