Im sorry but Reche Cawldwell is a nice third reciever, but he prove today he is not a number 1.. We need to focus on this plus youth in the lb dept and we shall see Indy again..

Don't get me wrong, we have good WRs. However, watching the Colts game, we cannot deny that their WRs are much better than ours. It was plain to see that while Tom was struggling to connect, Peyton had a relatively easier time(esp. in the second half) with his WRs. Hoping for a significant upgrade to the receiving team next season. Go Reche, Go Jabar, Go Troy(?), Go Chad, Go Kelvin, Go Bam. Hoping for a trade, a free agent pick-up, and/or draft on a stud WR. Go Pats.

Lets not forget the colts receivers were getting matched up sometimes with Bruschi and one of our Safteys a great matchup for almost any receiver in the league.

We need a big fast receiver to come in and contribute right away, show CJ the ropes an pump some life into a slumping passing game

Considering that the Colts have a very good defense (like ours), it would be very hard to win against them without upgrading our WR team, whether through development of players like Chad or through trade, FA pickup or the draft. Under the status quo, there is very little chance for Tom to win a shootout against Peyton. Let's give Tom the weapons he needs. I forgot, the Colts have a very good RB combo.

Gaffney made a great TD catch, but everything else was pretty mediocre.. Caldwell crapped the bed.. Jackson was non-existent, was looking for him in the last series to "stretch" the field.. need upgrades in this position.
