BB has had no confidence in the running game the past couple weeks. He put the entire burden for winning and losing on Tom, and it was too much. All the picks last week and the pick to lose the game today is evidence BB overplayed his hand. You must have balance in your offense to give yourself the best chance to win.

When did Manning win the big one?

This game wasn't the superbowl.

I'm going to vote for the Bears in the superbowl.

I truly cannot stand this Dolt team.

Actually, I'm not even going to watch the superbowl.
I'm saying that we abandoned the run in the 2nd half......Was Faulk injured?

It comes down to a defense,no matter how many guys are injured, giving up 32 points in the 2nd half.

Inexcusable......the Pats Lb play was horrible in the 2nd half..The pass to Dallas Clark on the last drive was an incredible and critical.

To have a too many men in the huddle, you deserve to lose.Bad time management, stupid!

Do not put this loss on the Pats offense, the Colts scored 32 points in the 2nd half after being down 21-3.

We lost because Manning was Extraordinary, and
on defense, the defense, could not come up with a stop.

TBC is just a such a liability.....to think that we might resign him is insane.

Bottom line.....Why didn't we run more in the 2nd
half and why doesn't our DL able to finish in the 2 nd half?

All year,I've said what a liability that B ruschi and Banta-Cain were.

We need linebackers......TBC,killed us

In the 4th quarter, all we had to do was get a first down in the last 2:30 and McDaniels couldnt figure it out.

In the 2nd half the Colts defense made adjustments, and changes, and McDan iels had no answers.

Did the defense break down in the 2nd half? Yes, they diad, but we also had three opportuites to tgake back control and McDaniesl sucked to hgigh heaven l Go to Oakland Josh, you truly suck.
The O cannot be blamed for LOSING A 21-3 LEAD it's all on the front 7 100% Samuel and Hobbs were awesome and were winners. The guys who didn't get it done today are Vrabel and Bruschi and, OK those backup safeties too. But I don't want to cling to these guys anymore and if they are here next year WE WILL LOSE AGAIN. The vaunted front 3 was as spent as a used contraceptive today so they can share all the blame tonight.

why don't you jog through a bear trap? all of your posts have been uber-critical of a team that at least over-achieved and at worst lost by four points in a conference championship game

I'm as disappointed as anyone that we blew a lead, but seriously... you joined this month just to talk **** about our guys??? just go away...

Yes, it worked well for Marty. Good luck w/ Chokeheimer w/o Cameron and Chudzinski next year, troll.

NEM is right, If the O can't stay on the field to give the D a rest what happened tonight is the result. The Colts put 9 in the box on first down in the 3rd qtr and we didn't adjust until after the score was tied and the D exhausted. \\Have you ever watched football before tonight>

Good point. I loved the aggressive playcalling in the 1st half. And that playcalling got us to the 15 point lead.

In the 2nd half the Colts made the better adjustments and our offense went into turtle mode and just could not string together 1st downs to give the defense a rest. With 3 and a half minutes to go we had the ball with a 3 point lead. A champion goes all out and pulls out the stops to keep the ball and finish running out the clock. They don't punt the ball to a red hot Indy team with a gassed defense that hasn't stopped anybody!

Something was definitely missing in the 2nd half.

The "prevent" defense only serves to allow a team to re-build its shattered morale, lets them think they can get back into it, and tonight that is exactly happened. We could have pulled this off tonight. We played well with good play calls, and the breaks went our way in the first 24 minute, but then we let it slip away. Bad choice by BB on that. We should have kept the peddle to metal, put them down and stepped on their neck, but we let 'em up. A shame.

Oh, well.
