Default Best Conspiracy Finish

The wife and I were talking about how the game could end so that the conspiracy theorists would have something to talk about. We figured this one was pretty good:

Pats ahead by 2 with :03 left in the game. Adam comes out for a 30-yarder and misses. Someone, somewhere out on the Internet suggests that Adam has been a Belichick plant all year long and that the plan went off perfectly.

Wouldn't that be fun?

No, if that did happen it would be because Adam was shaving points because he only cares about the $ and not winning.

The bigger conspiracy is the commish secretly convincing Houston not to take Reggie Bush and Nick Saban not to take Drew Brees so that the Katrina Saints could make it to the superbowl!

I can see Bill Simmons having fun with this and playing it up WWE style.

Imagine Adam comes out lines up for the kick, right before the snap rips off his Colts jersey to reveal a Patriots 3x Super Bowl Champs shirt. The ball gets snapped, he runs to midfield and moons the colts bench

By the way is it Sunday yet? This week dragging for anyone else?

My personal favorite is a Gostowski 45 yarder to win. God damn. I'd take a chunk of my TV and wear it in a locket until I die.

And that's after the refs call the Pats on a phantom roughing the passer penalty.

If that were true, wouldn't he have shanked at least a couple against Baltimore?

I think "Live Pats or Die" was just on WEEI talking about his premonition.

As much as I love to watch football, if the Saints won a squeaker Super Bowl with the aid of some questionable penalty calls then I might have a hard time believing the system wasn't manipulated...

They tried it last year with the Colts but the Steelers weren't playing along.
