Default Great New Feature From Reiss!

Did anyone catch this yesterday - - looks like he will do it daily for the next few weeks - selectively picking out his favorite five columns about the Pats from around the country.

High five
With the Patriots sure to draw more national media coverage heading into the AFC championship game, we'll cap off each night with five links from around the country:

Columnist Jeff Schultz of the Atlanta Journal Constitution ranks Bill Belichick and Tom Brady in a tie atop the all-time quarterback/coach list.

Gene Frenette of the Florida Times-Union catches up with Jabar Gaffney, who grew up in Jacksonville, about his emergence with the Patriots. Gaffney notes that Tom Brady is "a guy you want to play for. If you get open, he's going to find you."

Jerry Magee of the San Diego Union-Tribune examines how the Patriots' focus on preparation results in victories.

Howard Bryant of the Washington Post notes that the Colts are facing a familiar hurdle in the AFC championship.

Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News looks at quarterback Tom Brady and how he's adjusted to his new cast of receivers. "I've seen a whole different side of him being his teammate rather than being his adversary," said Patriots cornerback Ray Mickens in the piece. "The guy is clutch."

Wow! Thanks for putting this up.

Mike Reiss is quite amazing and a refreshing change to most of the local sportspersons attempting to write about the Pats.

Reiss is creative and hustling, once again. Kudos for noticing and KUDOS to Reiss.
