Harrison update

Asked to confirm today's report that safety Rodney Harrison had suffered a slight tear to his right anterior cruciate ligament, the agent for Harrison said he could not.

"It's not true," said Steve Feldman, who represents Harrison.

Harrison injured his right MCL on Dec. 31 against the Titans. The severity of the injury is not known, although Harrison has been ruled out for Sunday's game in San Diego.

Head games should the Pats get past SD or was Trotter way off base?

Cool Re: Harrison's Agent: torn ACL "not true"

I just saw this report too. If he really had a tear of some kind and there was no way he could come back, I believe the Pats would have put him on IR by now and signed some other body to the roster. Why keep his spot occupied if there is no chance he can come back?

If it is MCL as originally reported by everyone, then it makes sense that recovery could be 3-4 weeks without surgery. See Rodney in South Beach , baby!

Another thing is. BB is not the type of guy to fiddle around with injuries. He would put a player on IR if he feels he wont compete for the rest of the season.

Great point. Like when he put Pass on IR with a hurt hamstring (thank god), he said "He just didn't have enough time to recover and be healthy to make a difference."

i strained my MCL my Jr. year of highschool - during lacrosse season though.
i know they are different sports but lacrosse is also very fast paced. anyways my point is that i was able to play 3 weeks after i injured it in the state semifinals with a heavy brace.

my guess is harrison will be back next week WHEN we beat the bolts. i dont even listen to/ read anything borges has to say anymore the guy is a complete fool. Check out his answers in his Q and A on boston.com - hes just obnoxious to me.
