that's fair. I've been hard on the guy. you never want your TE to be the leading receiver. it's definitely "complimentary" as Bill would say...can't ignore the burden on the guy. very fair point. All I know is, for all his physical talent, his route running is just "ok" and his hands are not so good...Gates and Gonzalez aren't even as gifted as Ben but they're obviously better football players. having said all that, this offense needs whatever help it can get, so obviously ben needs to be a big part of whatever we have left this season.

I think all the injuries: Watson, Wilfork, and Maroney are career-ending.

Just speculation on my part, however.

My sister's boyfriend's step-brother's uncle's best friend's niece's kid just told me that Maroney is in critical condition at Mass General and has been since last Sunday.

I got nothing on Watson or Wilfork though.
