to me, the real key to the rest of the season is in the ability of the fans to find the proper sacrifice to the football gods. I had thought that perhaps a dozen falafal and the first born child of a Manning on a stone altar by the full moon might do it, but now -- I wonder if it might take more than that this year. We have offended the gods with our turnovers and they have wrought havoc upon our secondary.

According to an interview he gave and was aired this weekend on channel 4 in Boston, 'soon' with a sly smile. He did say that he sould be back for the playoffs and that he's working out now.

My guess is that he will be ready to play in a couple of weeks and that they will probably play him a half in Tenn to get the rust off - maybe a little in JAX.

How about:

"Eye of Chad, and toe of Mangini,
Wool of Palmer, and tongue of Saban,
Rivers' fork, and Bib Ben's sting,
Peyton's leg, and Adam's wing,--
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."
