Default My impressions of Patfans.com

It seems to be the week to give impressions of this board. So, I'll chiime in because I know many people have been waiting to hear my impressions.

I think this board rocks most of the time. For a bunch of unemployed psychos, paranoids and people with no lives, we do have many good posters and have some good football discussions. None that I ever started, but good ones none the less.

My biggest gripe is the way people come down on the local sports media. These guys are just trying to make a living, the same way used car salesmen, lawyers, and sports agents are trying to make a living.

It is obvious to me that most of the sports media were valuable backs up on their high school football or soccer teams. If something ever happened to first, second or third team players they would have been right there to contribute. And if the entire coaching staff came down with e-coli, they would have been there to fill in as coaches.

Yes, Andy Gresh did play for a 1AA school. And when he is not yelling and making his irritating noises or second guessing the coaching staff, he can give some good info out.

Now, on a serious note the board has really grown since I first joined. I can remember some times when there were less than 20 members logged in. Now, we do have many new members and some of them have really contributed to making this board a fun place to visit.
