Default You know your coach is doing well

When a street free agent (like Poteat) can line up against a WR like Chad Johnson and not let hell break loose.

I can only imagine the defensive schemes used last week to contain that Bengals offense when we had 2 secondary starters out.

BB and crew shows us time and time again that coaching really does matter.

Poteat has been in our Defense now for well over a year. He has had a ton of experience with it and its not like when we picked him up he didnt know anything.

I was referring to the caliber of CB poteat is (no diss to my man) against a WR like Chad Johnson. As much as love my boy poteat, it's not a match made in heaven and BB has been managing things like this for years (look at SB 39). I know this is common knowledge among all fans alike, but I thought I would bring it up again as our defense once again pulled a miracle last week.

Skri, i do believe that
this is the most significant single statement
i have yet read about the Patriots' win over the Bengals.

How did they EVER coach these substitutes
to hold Cinci's stellar wide receivers in check?

It's really no wonder why I keep watching my TIVO of this game. This reminds me of the miracle of our first Superbowl and the Rams game of a couple years ago, coming off our loss to the Steelers. Just a special game.

It's why I love TJ Housyourmama's quote saying "they knew they couldn't cover us, that's why they covered us with the schemes they did." Well, DUH TJ.

Hope he finally learns that a team sucess is not neccesarily (although often is) based on how much skill is there (especially at a position as WR...look at Arizona.)

so, are you saying BB is more important to the pats success than ron "toadie" borges? that must kill toadie.

I keep looking at your sig quote and cracking up, especially in light of the latest Koren Robinson story about his jail time for his second DUI. Impact player, indeed.

Everytime I read that quote, I am simply amazed (but not in a good way).

toadie has an unnatural hatred of BB, which is amazing, even though we know it is because BB screwed toadie's career... BB didnt do it on purpose, he did it to help the team (his employer)... BB (look at the rosters) is the greatest coach in history, and toadie borges goes down as a fool who couldnt even get access to his home team's coach.
