Chad responded to this jokingly, but I wonder how much truth there was in it.

Finally, rookie receiver Chad Jackson (hamstring) remained on the sideline as he has since early in camp. In the locker room, Jackson was asked by a reporter if he could stop and talk.

“Not yet, still on probation,†joked Jackson.

Assuming Jackson gets healthy and gets into the rotation this year, and more so next year, I would expect him to EXPLODE for year 3 which is when most WR's really take off.

He's an incredible talent, no doubt, he just needs to get on the field.

I actually think LoMo could be the ROY if he stays healthy.

What is this based on? Dillon has caught more than 10 passes every year he has been in the NFL.

I nominate him for the "pag" award. In other words play a game.

While I agree with everyone else that he's only had 2 practices, so there is nothing really to base those ROY projections on - I certainly think he'll be given an opportunity to be a big part of this offense. If he has hands - I hope he can move ahead of Caldwell at some point in the season.

I know it's not the norm, but we saw Terry Glenn have a 90+ catch season as a rookie. I wish he could be at least half of that...

The likelihood of a player who came out as a Junior making Rookie of the year is low, and that applies to both Jackson and Maroney. Also Jackson is known to be weak on short routes.

5) Caldwell
6) Faulk
7) Maroney
8) Mills
9) Thomas
I strongly disagree with your synopsis here. This guy was not drafted to sit 9th in order of receptions.Jackson will surprise many this year.He will open eyes.Mark my words.

Heck - I already have him ahead of Caldwell with only 2 practices, but I'm still desparately hoping to be proven wrong and that Caldwell will meet all the predictions around here of filling Given's shoes.

Maroney will share the load with Dillon so I don't think he will put RoY numbers.
