Default After some action - A Strange Roster

I believe this is the best 53 we have, although Childress and Beisel could be replaced by veteran additions, and Gay could still be beat out by Warfeild.

OFFENSE (24)
QB (2) Brady, Cassell (pioli will keep looking)
RB (3) Dillon,Maroney,Faulk,Cobb (bye, bye pass and evans)
WR (4) Branch,Caldwell,Brown,Jackson (we don't need more)
KR/PR (2) Andrews,Childress (pioli will keep looking)
TE (4) Watson,Graham,Thomas,Mills (is graham holding out?)
OL (8) Light,Mankins,Koppen,Neal,Gorin (dante likes Gorin more than we do)
Hochstein,O'Callaghan,Stevenson (no Britt)

DEFENSE (26)
DL (7) Seymour,Wilfork,Warren,Green
Sullivan,Wright,Smith
OLB(4) Colvin,Vrabel,Brown,Banta-Cain (no Mincey;is he better than TBC?)
ILB( 6) Bruschi,Beisel,Gardner,Alexander,Davis,Izzo
C (4) Hobbs,Samuel,C.Scott,Gay (Warfield gone)
S (5) Harrison,Wilson,Hawkins,Sanders,G. Scott (Jones gone)

SPECIALISTS
K Gramatica
P Miller
DS Paxton

INJURED RESERVE OR PUP

Question What about the kicker?

So you are keeping Gramatica over the rookie and not having him come down with a PUP or IR injury that would allow us to hold him?

I'd be surprised if we didn't protect him in some way as a future investment if he doesn't beat out Gramatica.

Not a bad list. However, ILB look horrible. Beisel really needs to go. The guy supposedly put on what...12lbs of muscle during the offseason? He looked worse than he did last yr. I hope Mincey and woods will continue to produce and somehow push themselves onto the roster or PS. We definately need an infusion of talented youth with our LB's. Nice list though.

Still think Gost will be the kicker this year.

I think Mincey is better than TBC.

Break his arm if you want, if you want to pay him for a year and keep him just in case). The point is that Gramatica is back and is a fine kicker.

BTW, I'm fine with every one of our draft picks. If GOST doesn't make it, he still will have served as insurance in case Gramatica was washed up.

It is real early but based on early result this is going to be seen as an epic draft, with a possible UDFA diamond in the rough (Cobbs). Can't wait to see Jackson on the field.

The 53 looks pretty good. I could see 1 more OL,

The D always looks rough in preseason. I would like to see Beisel be healthier and show something early. Get well soon Tedy B!
