Fiedler follow

Free-agent quarterback Jay Fiedler has not generated interest from the Patriots, according to Fiedler’s agent, Brian Levy.

Levy previously said three teams were in the mix for Fiedler -- the Buccaneers, the Giants, and a team that preferred to remain anonymous. Levy said today that team was not the Patriots.

A high schooler could run the Steelers offense. Fiedler would be perfect.

I would think that the Steelers would be more inclined to bring back Maddox rather than to have Fiedler learn their system. (Not that it would be overly difficult for a NFL QB to learn how to hand the ball off). It could be possible that the agent is just trying to deflect attention away from the Pats at their request.

Either Maddox or Slash. I would laugh so hard if Kordell showed up in a game.

I think the steelers fans would burn down the stadium if Kordell ever stepped under center wearing the Black and Gold!

I know, but I thought it was funny. I would love to see it happen though.

Is Charlie Batch still in Pitts? He is an ok backup with starting experience.
