Default OT: Instead of Bush? Texans sign veteran Antowain Smith

Good for him... always liked Antowain.

"In a move that represents a homecoming of sorts for Antowain Smith, the Houston Texans on Monday afternoon signed the unrestricted free agent tailback to a contract of undisclosed length and value, adding an experienced presence to the depth chart."

IIRC, Houston is his hometown too. Good deal.

They are truly trying to make up for not landing Young or Bush. The people in Houston need a person whom they can identify with. That signing is nothing more then a PR move in my opinion. We all know Smith is from Houston himself.
