I refuse to pay money to ESPN, so I can't actually read the article on which the story is based, but, as someone else has pointed out, it is based on "feedback from fans."

I don't know what's more pathetic: the original story or our wasting time on it. Close call.

I was just trying to think of someone quick, and I don't know a lot about that era (before I was born ). Actually my first thought was Hank Stram but that would be way off since he won one. I figured Grant would be a decent comparison since he got to an SB.
