The NFLPA site is showing only 1 year $585,000. Haven't seen any contract details posted as to any signing or workout bonuses, and there may well not be any. If that's the case it's a veteran minimum contract.

He had just signed a 7 year $12M deal with the Bucs in 2002. They took a $2M dead cap hit for cutting him in October 2004. He apparently also has some history of hernia like problems - had hernia surgery sometime in 2003 as well as the surgery in June 2005. According to one article I read from a Tampa paper his past and present teamates questioned his mental toughness for a pro bowl kicker. Of course by 2004 things had gotten pretty ugly in Tampa Bay and in most of their losses he was missing multiple FG's.

Gramatica will be a stud this year, now that he has his health back. Apparently he's been draining 50-yarders in Florida. We just stole a Pro Bowler. Nobody will beat him out in training camp. He's made 11 of 12 FG in his postseason career, a far better percentage than Vinatieri. We are all set at kicker.
