Angry The Truth is Adam did not want to be here period

Do you really think he would go to Indy for a measly 500,000 more in which he could have cleaned up in endorsements, and then some... ?? No Simply put he had a nice run here , he help won us 3 super bowls, but just did not want to be here... If he did he would have signed a deal with us months ago... Sorry to say ,but he just did not want to be a Patriot.. That is sad, and this one will hurt a lot more than Willie or Givens....

It doesn't matter why-- just what. He had made up his mind to leave. Period. Once one party decides to leave a relationship, the other party can not do a thing. What is of concern is that so many other players have left or are angling to leave.

willy is more valuable, somone who plays every down, or some one who plays in like ten plays a game. Like that other post pointed out, he has not had stellar years the past two years. Games should not be left up to the kicker any way, we should be good enough to win every game with out him, which may be bb thinking. Makes sense.

That's ridiculous. That question implies that we should blame the team or the coaches or ourselves. Maybe he was just tired of all the adulation, and couldn't insulate himself and his family well enough from it on kicker money.

Sorry, I meant Willie hurt more to me personally. Heartbreaker, but they made him an offer he could'nt refuse.

Here's wild theory. He's done all that he could do in N.E. and it won't ever get any better. If he goes to Indy and he helps them win a Super Bowl, he's a hero in two cities.
He's got to ask himself, if the game's (or the SB or a playoff) on the line who would you rather have behind center getting you into FG range, TB or Peyton??????
Thanks for the memories anyhow.............
