Don't blame the messenger,I said it was probably not a big deal, but thought this would be a good one for those looking to complain

Tebow could be drafted here as our next fullback or Tight End,A QB he is not

Good. He's not missing anything he doesn't know. His #1 leadership concern is at home. If he unnecessarily misses anything AFTER the draft, I'd be more concerned.

I guess you missed the National Championships and Heisman Trophy he won as QB. If anyone has the desire to succeed it's Tebow, he did a great job cleaning up his throwing motion and will continue to improve and be the hardest worker on the team.

May I also point out that Cassel stunk when he initially took over for Brady but he developed into a fine QB by the end of the season, there is no reason why Tebow cannot develop as well.

^^^ What he said.

I think people need to consider the other side of the coin here. If he spends no time with his son in Cali during the offseason, what kind of problem do you think that causes for him during the season when he really has even less chance to see him? Ideally, he would be able to be here in Foxboro during the entire offseason, but this isn't an ideal world. He just needs to get here by the passing camps.

What receivers ? Maybe that's what Brady is waiting for before he shows up.

People make a far bigger deal out of this than they should. Brady's no longer a scrawny 25 year old still needing to work on his mechanics. There has been and still are a lot of veterans who miss the voluntary workout sessions. It speaks nothing about Brady's commitment to football. The guy did show up on time for that snow storm where Moss, Thomas, etc. were sent home and it was the day after his kid was born.

For those blaming his new wife and baby, they're fine living here. However, Jack's mother lives in California and according to Felger's sources yesterday it's a custody agreement visitation issue that requires him to be in California at this time. They get to have him here for short periods in season, but extended visits in the off season take place in the state in which his mother resides.
